I have never been to church Or read a bible in my life But I have seen the future In the glowing lights of the midnight sky So my friends and I set out to find the place Where the future begins We arrived in Jerusalem Sought the learned and the holy men All their preachers and their scholars Said the King would be born in Bethlehem But to our surprise and their demise, not one of them Came along To see the King Like God’s chosen people of old We were led by heavenly fire Now I have seen the future In the glowing light of a child’s eyes So we offered up our treasures and laid them down At the child’s feet For we had met the King I have seen the King I have traveled far Beheld him with my eyes I have met the King Son of God and son of man I fell down before the King I have seen the King I have met the I fell down before the King I have seen the King I have met the I fell down before the King

"Nothing Less, Nothing More" Words and music by Benjamin & Chelsea Peck (BMI) Open your eyes and believe Open your hands and receive Some that you lost will be retrieved Open your hands and receive All that I have is now your gift Nothing less, nothing more Our burdens shared so we can lift You’ll carry mine. I’ll carry yours Open your heart and let it grieve Open your mind, let it conceive That what you lost you just might leave Open your hands and receive All that I have is now your gift Nothing less, nothing more Our burdens shared so we can lift You’ll carry mine. I’ll carry yours Whoa now we’re walking down the road Our burdens light with our shared load We won’t be weighted with regret, we won’t be weighted with regret With our new freedom who can know What will we be? Where will we go? Maybe it doesn’t matter yet Just let me love you and I’ll let you Open your hands and receive, receive, receive, receive

Who You Are 03:19
"Who You Are" Words and music by Benjamin & Chelsea Peck (BMI) Oh my baby Oh my love Where have you gone? Where did you go? I’ve been waiting I have been praying For your return Only to know For I have cried in the grayest of clouds And I have flown on a shooting star But I won’t know who I am Until I know who you are But I won’t know who I am Until I know who you are

"Break These Chains" Words and music by Benjamin & Chelsea Peck You wear these chains But you’ve got rhythm in your step And you jingle while you walk So you sing Oh Your world was dark So I spat into the earth And I wiped it in your eyes To bring you light To bring you light And break these chains Your cup ran dry Though it wasn’t yet my time Where I’ll walk and what I’ll calm I turned to wine You gave what you had Though impossible it seemed We broke bread And fed them all So take and eat And break these chains And break these chains And break these chains

about

Bryan Tucker first asked us to create music for CLOSURE after he and his wife Angela attended our debut concert. Because both our band and our marriage were only several months old, because we would be working on a short deadline amidst busy schedules, and because we were intimidated by how good we knew the movie would be after watching the rough cut, our first inclination was to say no. However, once we realized how incredible it would be to take part in this project, we knew we’d be fools to refuse.

Throughout the course of three months, we spent countless hours writing new music and lyrics with approaches we’d never taken before, branching out into new styles, and learning to play the cello and bowed guitar. With our new songs, styles and instrumentation, we headed to our bedroom closet (our makeshift recording isolation booth) and recorded.

Happy listening!
