Your Eyes 03:57
"Your Eyes" Words and music by Benjamin & Chelsea Peck (BMI) I tried so hard to gain their sympathy Their glance it made, it made me so afraid All their respect and love to guide my ways Measured and weighed, and I’ve become unmade Your eyes are all I see Your eyes are all I need Your eyes see me free Your eyes watch over me What value is there in their stare? For their love, I no longer care I’ve grown restless living as their slave For my mind rests upon their gaze Your eyes are all I see Your eyes are all I need Your eyes see me free Your eyes watch over me Watch over me Your eyes are all I see Your eyes are all I need Your eyes see me free Your eyes watch over me Your eyes are all I see Your eyes are all I need Your eyes see me free Your eyes watch over me

Setting Sail 03:05
"Setting Sail" Words and music by Benjamin & Chelsea Peck (BMI) The wind is blowing out upon the sea It stops for no one; it’s moving strong and free So I’m setting sail I’m gonna let it carry me The waves are coming to try to take me down Few have survived them, many more have drowned But I’m setting sail Where new life can be found Hope is arising out beyond the known It smooths the voyage and guides me safely home So I’m setting sail And I pray I’m not alone So we’re setting sail And we pray we’re not alone
3.
"Toward the Sea" Words and music by Benjamin & Chelsea Peck (BMI) With an old pair of shoes you went walking One step after the next Weary and worn, feet just wandering Hoping and longing for rest But even here in this, my dear Is where you’ll find your peace The sand may seem a desert but your heart is still a stream So keep on walking toward the sea You feel as there’s no one to guide you No clear sight of the path Tired and torn but determined To step forward and not look back But even here in this, my dear Is where you’ll find your peace The sand may seem a desert but your heart is still a stream So keep on walking toward the sea But even now when all seems lost You will find your way But even here in this, my dear Is where you’ll find your peace The sand may seem a desert but your heart is still a stream So keep on walking toward the sea So keep on walking toward the sea Keep on walking toward me

40 Miles 03:44
"40 Miles" Words and music by Benjamin & Chelsea Peck (BMI) It’s been about 14 miles since I last turned around It’s been equally long since anyone’s heard the sound Of my voice And my one and only choice Was to run away and be free It’s been about 18 miles since I last turned around It’ll be any minute now that she will have found My note And my one and only hope Is that the one whom I love would follow me Follow me (follow me), follow me (follow me) I can’t seem to turn my heart of stone Now I’m free from what you say ‘Cause I’m goin’ my own way But freedom ain’t so free when you’re alone It’s been about 20 miles since I last saw her face It’s been much, much longer that I last thought of grace But just know That the further on I go I learn a little more what it’s like to be free It’s been about 30 miles since I found this road And I can’t turn around now ‘cause I’m stubborn as stone But I’m scared And my one and only prayer Is that the one whom I love would follow me Follow me (follow me), follow me (follow me) I can’t seem to turn my heart of stone Now I’m free from what you say ‘Cause I’m goin’ my own way But freedom ain’t so free when you’re alone Follow me (follow me), follow me (follow me) I can’t seem to turn my heart of stone Now I’m free from what you say ‘Cause I’m goin’ my own way But freedom ain’t so free when you’re alone Now I’m free from what you say ‘Cause I’m goin’ my own way But freedom ain’t so free when you’re alone It’s been about 40 miles since I last turned around It’s been equally long since anyone could hear the sound When my heart breaks But with every step I take I learn a little more just where I belong I wish the one whom I love had come along I thought that this would set me free, but I was wrong

"Was It Not Enough?" Words and music by Benjamin & Chelsea Peck (BMI) Woe to the shepherd Who cares for himself His comfort and wealth before his sheep Before his sheep The lion and the leopard Are robbing them blind And soon they will dine on his sheep On his sheep Was it not enough to eat from green pastures? But you ran all around And trampled ‘em down with your feet Whoa, with your feet Woe to the vulture You prey on the weak The ones who would seek your help Seek your help Should be a protector You sooth your sheep with your harp While you secretly sharpen your teeth Sharpen your teeth Was it not enough to eat from green pastures? But you ran all around And trampled ‘em down with your feet Whoa, with your feet Was it not enough to drink the clear water? But you filled it with blood And turned it to mud with your feet Whoa, with your feet Will you ever surrender? Will you heed to the call? Will you let yourself fall to your knees? To your knees For I’ll bring a new Shepherd Who throws feasts for the poor And lifts the thieves and the whores back to their feet Back to their feet Was it not enough to eat from green pastures? But you ran all around And trampled ‘em down with your feet Whoa, with your feet Was it not enough to drink the clear water? But you filled it with blood And turned it to mud with your feet Whoa, with your feet Was it not enough to rest in my arms? But you ran away And wandered astray with your feet Whoa, with your feet

"Thoughts After a Meteor Shower" Words and music by Benjamin & Chelsea Peck (BMI) I saw you in the sky last night As usual you shined so bright You told me that you loved me and I said I love you, too Though I don’t love quite as wonderfully as you I saw you in the sky with just a glance I heard you in the music so I danced And flowing like a river, you danced just like you do Though I don’t dance near as gracefully as you And it’s love that keeps us turning Joy that keeps us burning Pain that keeps us learning That you are what we’re for Love that keeps on trying Joy that’s never dying Pain that keeps us crying For what you have in store I feel I am filled with such might You shake your head and smile with delight Like a child who thinks he’s flying when his daddy holds him high Though without him he can’t really fly And it’s love that keeps us turning Joy that keeps us burning Pain that keeps us learning That you are what we’re for Love that keeps on trying Joy that’s never dying Pain that keeps us crying For what you have in store I’d say you’re filled with love But that’s still not all true For you’re not filled with love But love is filled with you I’d say you’re filled with love But that’s still not all true For you’re not filled with love But love is filled with you And it’s love that keeps us turning Joy that keeps us burning Faith that keeps us learning That you are what we’re for Love that keeps on trying Joy that’s never dying Faith that keeps us crying For what you have in store

Home Will Be 04:23
"Home Will Be" Words and music by Benjamin & Chelsea Peck (BMI) You were standing at the edge, ready to jump in And I can’t tell you, since, how nice the water’s been I see you and you see me, and still you’re jumping in And I welcomed you to the water with a grin So baby stay in But if you must go, please go I won’t hold you back We’re taking it, oh, so slow And I’m just fine with that But babe, please know That I’m hoping for a day When we no longer say Call me when you’re home and safe from harm ‘Cause home will be right here in your arms They say home is where the heart is, and baby if that’s true Then I’m far from home each time I’m far from you You said I’m just what you wanted, that I’m too good to be true And babe I said the same thing about you So baby stay true But if you must go, please go I won’t hold you back We’re taking it, oh, so slow And I’m just fine with that But babe, please know That I’m hoping for a day When we no longer say Call me when you’re home and safe from harm ‘Cause home will be right here in your arms When you dream, please remember me just a little in your dreams Think of me when you see the moon and it makes you wanna sing Baby please sing But if you must go, please go I won’t hold you back We’re taking it, oh, so slow And I like it just like that But babe, please know That I’m hoping for a day When we no longer say Call me when you’re home and safe from harm ‘Cause home will be right here in your arms

"Nature’s Lullaby" Words and music by Benjamin & Chelsea Peck (BMI) Blue bird sits outside my window Calling to the sky Baby’s chirpin’, Mama’s coming To sing her lullaby The wind is blowing, the leaves are glowing As the trees reach toward the sky Shadows dancing on a sunlit stage And the clouds are passing me by The sun lights my way As it falls down from the sky It reminds me that love will find me In nature’s lullaby I know comfort, I know rest For I know love is near In the valley of the shadow of death Love has chased away my fear The sun lights my way As it falls down from the sky It reminds me that love will find me In nature’s lullaby The sun lights my way As it falls down from the sky It reminds me that love will find me In nature’s lullaby It reminds me that love will find me In nature’s lullaby In nature’s lullaby

"What Do You See?" Words and music by Benjamin & Chelsea Peck (BMI) What do you see? Tell me, what do you see? The dreams that have died or the hopes yet to be? Someone who’s loved and lost or someone who's learned patiently? What do you see in sickness? What do you see in health? What do you see when you look at yourself? ‘Cause I see a will to rise again from every fall I see a soul that’s filled with awe at the wonder of it all I see a little heaven there wherever you are And it’s not that far; it’s not that far Who will you be? Tell me, who will you be? A prisoner of circumstance or a soul that’s free? A coward with closed eyes or a fighter with the courage to see? Who will you be in poverty? Who will you be in wealth? Who will you be when you’re being yourself? ‘Cause I see a will to rise again from every fall I see a soul that’s filled with awe at the wonder of it all I see a little heaven there wherever you are And it’s not that far; it’s not that far I see a will to rise again from every fall And it’s not that far; it’s not that far It’s not that far; it’s not that far

about

Although we were scheduled to go to Nashville and come home with a five-song EP, pre-production conversations and an outburst of songwriting paved the way for 'something' more. During two weeks in Nashville, we recorded a ten-song album! It demonstrates a wide variety of old and new, full band and simple duo, upbeat and mellow songs. We are not only excited to have created our first full-length album, but we are also proud that it embodies an accurate snapshot of who we are today.

Special thanks to: God for being the wind in our sails; Rufus & Pat for believing in us; our families for being our support; Mitch Dane & his family for their friendship, chess & baseball; our friends at Centricity for facilitating incredible opportunities for us; John & Dianne for their hospitality; Caren, Steve, Ben, Alyssa & Katie for going above and beyond; UD & AM for the many instruments; Jules & Clarko for the use of Castillo di Bomgren; Zina, our faithful helper; Calvary Christian Assembly for the use of the Solid Rock Loft; Paul, Kevin, Dustin & Jason for laying down some sweet tracks; Koehn & Will for their mad assisting skills; Matt for his mastery of mastering; Emma for the amazing pictures; our friends for cheering us on; and you for buying this album.
